Comprehensive in-house solutions and grid design

Our Design Services

Our team is comprised of senior leaders with career experience of successfully designing, deploying and growing charging networks for themselves and for other market leading operators.  We understand the challenges and opportunities of developing high utilisation and critical fleet infrastructure networks and are here to support throughout your network establishment and expansion.  We believe that the accredited experience of our in-house team in the critical value chain components of Consultancy, Grid Connections, Design & Build and Network Service Operations, provides a safe partnership to provide the security and efficiencies (both in speed of deployment and resource costs) of a single, clear, network contract.

Sinewave have been operating in the Rapid Charger EV sector since 2016 and have worked on national roll outs for projects and programmes of various sizes and scopes, from small LV connections up to 11kv primary connected schemes. Sinewave are NERS accredited up to 132kV and utilise our in-house design team to cover the full scope of works from contestable works, civils and drainage, BS7671 along with all technical power system studies. With thousands of EV projects designed and delivered since our inception, Sinewave in partnership with Amplify are one of the leading providers of turnkey EV projects in the UK across multiple disciplines and working environments: from Motorway Services and Petrol Forecourts, to Retail and even Marine (delivering shore to shore connections). Utilising our Procore system, customer, project team and supply chain can all work collaboratively, with live project data and site co-ordination. The system provides live data visibility: Programmes (MSproject); RFI’s; Drawing approval, mark up and revision overlay and control; Specification Management and Document control.

Safety & Sustainability is at the centre of our design process, we will design every network to meet, and where possible exceed all statutory requirements for G81, BS671, PAS1899 to license conditions and regulatory targets including PAS1899. Sustainability is embedded into our design process aiming to reduce the carbon impact at the design phase utilising low carbon alternatives and environmental impacts to a project.
