Amplify announces strategic partnership with Fuuse

The partnership will combine expertise to support local authorities and charge point owners as they plan their migration from ChargePlace Scotland (CPS)

Amplify EV is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Fuuse, designed to support local authorities and public charge point owners across Scotland as they prepare to migrate their charging infrastructure from the ChargePlace Scotland (CPS) network to new commercial providers, throughout 2025 and 2026. This migration plan aligns with Scotland’s targets for zero emission vehicles and aims to foster a larger, more robust public EV charging network, driven by private companies.

Careful selection of a commercial provider to ensure a smooth transition is essential, and the partnership between Amplify EV and Fuuse will bring together two areas of critical expertise: Amplify EV’s field engineering and technical support team, which is certified to service and maintain a wide-range of charge points including many that feature throughout Scotland, and Fuuse’s best-in-class Charge Point Management System (CPMS). The combined solution delivers both quality and value, giving operators confidence as they move into the next phase of their electrification journey.

Stuart Douglas, COO at Amplify EV, said:
"This partnership is all about delivering flexible support in a time of transition. We know that many operators and local authorities are under pressure to adapt their strategies quickly, while keeping networks reliable and cost-effective. By working with Fuuse, we’re combining our accredited engineering expertise with their class-leading CPMS platform to deliver a seamless, value-driven solution for customers nationwide."

Anne Buckingham, CCO at Amplify EV, added:
"At Amplify EV, we are committed to supporting local authorities and charge point owners with the tools, people, and expertise needed to migrate smoothly from the CPS network operation. Migration from CPS is not just a technical challenge — it’s a strategic one. Through this partnership, we can offer local authorities, fleets, and public charging operators a pathway that reduces complexity, drives efficiency, and ensures continuity of service for EV drivers across Scotland."

Mike Gibson, CEO at Fuuse, commented:
"Amplify EV’s technical expertise and engineering capacity are a perfect complement to Fuuse’s CPMS platform. Together, we can provide operators with the confidence and flexibility they need to evolve their networks beyond CPS, ensuring resilience and delivering a better experience for drivers across the UK."
